A wife, mother, daughter, sister & sinner on a journey to be just 1% better than yesterday in answering God's call to holiness.
I work full time outside of this ministry, but feel God's tug at my heart to serve others on the journey; those struggling to be Christ's light to others in this secularized world we live in.
I am not perfect by any measure and I know there are others like me out there; wanting to find more time for a prayer life, wanting to rely on God but finding it hard to do that in a too busy, somewhat chaotic life, unsure of whether you're following God's will or your own.
This site and the program and community we're building are intended to help those who feel overwhelmed or just tired of trying to juggle it all find peace by putting God first in their lives.
I am a Roman Catholic by birth & baptism. My beliefs are those of the Holy Mother Church as summed up in the Nicene Creed:
I believe in one God,
the Father, the Almighty,
Maker of heaven and earth,
of all things visible and invisible.
I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ,
the only-begotten Son of God,
born of the Father before all ages,
God from God, Light from Light,
true God from true God,
begotten, not made,
consubstantial with the Father.
Through him all things were made.
For us and for our salvation
he came down from heaven:by the power of the Holy Spirit
was incarnate of the Virgin Mary,
and became man.
For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate;
he suffered death and was buried,
and rose again on the third day
in accordance with the Scriptures.
He ascended into heaven
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead,
and his kingdom will have no end.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life,
who proceeds from the Father and the Son.
With the Father and the Son he is adored and glorified.
He has spoken through the Prophets.
I believe in one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church.
I confess one baptism for the forgiveness of sins,
and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead,
and the life of the world to come.
